The EECU Center is a state-of-the-art facility, designed with the guest experience in mind from the moment you step foot inside the arena. It is our goal to provide a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The information provided below is intended to help familiarize our guests with arena specific amenities, services and policies. Specific shows may have their own unique set of policies, so please check each event page for event-specific information. We look forward to welcoming you to the EECU Center!
Security Measures / Policies
Clear Bag Policy
The EECU Center enforces a clear bag policy for all events held within the venue. This
policy assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment and decreases the wait time to
enter the venue.
Guests with a prohibited bag will not be permitted inside the venue. Guests with prohibited
bags will be asked to return their bags to their vehicle and transfer their belongings to an
approved clear plastic bag before entering the venue.
Every guests with a ticket for entry is permitted to bring in one (1) approved clear bag.
Diaper bags are not permitted. Everything that would be put into a diaper bag must now be
carried in a clear bag. Each member of a family, including children, is permitted to carry an
approved clear bag and a clutch purse into the venue.
Medically necessary items or equipment that is not able to fit within the bag policy, as well
as media personnel will undergo additional screening. Screened and approved medical or
media bags will be tagged prior to entry.
Prohibited Items
The items outlined below are prohibited from entering the EECU Center. It is important to
note that additional prohibited items may be implemented, based upon specific event
requirements and as directed by EECU Center management, event promoter or as required
by artist riders:
- Outside food & drink
- Lighters
- Flammable liquids or aerosol cans
- Illegal drugs
- Projectiles
- Glass or metal containers, bottles, flasks or water bottles of any type
- Flashlights, laser pointers, glow sticks, flares or fireworks
- Balloons, balls, beach balls, etc.
- Noise Making Devices (i.e. air horns, whistles, bells, vuvuzelas, etc.)
- Alternative Transportation (bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc.)
- Selfie Sticks
- Tobacco Products (of any kind) including electronic cigarettes or vaping devices
- Ice Chests
- Umbrellas (unless they collapse and are no longer than 18”)
- Strollers
- Stadium seats or chairbacks
- Glitter
- Pets (except for service animals as outlined in the SAP)
- Bags or cases of any kind that do not meet the bag policy

Alcohol
The EECU Center encourages the safe and responsible consumption of alcoholic
beverages. In an effort to provide a safe and enjoyable environment, the EECU Center has
implemented strict alcohol policies designed to encourage and provide a safe and
enjoyable environment for all guests.
Guests are expected to follow all laws governing the purchase, possession, and
consumption of alcohol.
Alcohol Policies:
- All guests who appear to be younger than thirty-five (35) will be asked to show positive identification prior to being served alcoholic beverages. Acceptable formsof valid United States identification include driver’s license, passport, state issued i.d. card w/photo, and military i.d. w/photo.
- All guests possessing or consuming alcohol will be provided with and are required to wear a wristband. This wristband identifies that the individual has been verified as old enough to consume and possess alcohol.
- EECU Center staff reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who appears to be impaired. Likewise, EECU Center staff reserve the right to remove anyone from the venue who appears impaired for the safety of the individual and other guests in the venue. Refunds for admissions will not be provided.
- There is a limit of two alcoholic beverages sold to each guest, per purchase, per valid I.D. This policy is subject to change at any time for any event at the discretion of facility/event management.
- Alcoholic beverages will not be served in containers larger than 24 ounces.
- Alcohol sales cutoff times vary by event. Please contact EECU Center staff for more information.
- Guests found with alcohol brought from outside the facility will immediately be ejected from the venue.
- No alcohol is permitted to leave the facility.
- Alcohol service is not guaranteed for all events. Some events may be designated as non-alcohol’ events.
Banners / Signs
Unless otherwise specified by the event officials or management, guests are permitted to
bring in small signs, banners, posters, flags, etc. to show fan support during events. The
following banner/sign guidelines are in place:
- Signs must be handheld, event-related, in good taste
- Signs may not contain or display poor sportsmanship, obscene/offensive language and/or pictures, as determined by EECU Center management.
- Signs cannot obstruct another guest’s view or obstruct any sponsor/advertisement signage.
- Signs may not contain commercial messages, or logos
- Signs may not be hung off of or affixed to any venue structures
- Signs on poles or sticks, or constructed of wood or metal material are not permitted
- EECU Center staff reserves the right to confiscate signs that are in violation of this policy.
Binoculars
Binoculars are permitted in the EECU Center, subject to inspection at all entrances.
Binocular cases are not allowed per the clear bag policy.
Box Office
The EECU Center Ticket Office is located on the north side of the facility and will only be open on ticketed event days starting at 10 am and will not participate in public on sales.
Breaching Designated Perimeters
Any guests attempting to, or actually entering a field of play or performance area or breach
of the obvious designated permitter (bicycle rack, rope, stanchion, hand railing, barricade,
etc.) will immediately be ejected and subject to arrest and prosecution.
Camera Policy
Professional audio and/or video equipment is not permitted in the EECU Center. This
includes professional cameras as well as cameras with detachable lenses regardless of
length. Restrictions to not apply to smartphones.
Exceptions may be made to those who have specifically been granted access by EECU
Center management and who possess the appropriate credentials.
Please note that for some concerts and special events, camera restrictions will vary.
Cashless Facility
To increase operational efficiency, reduce wait times and enhance the customer
experience, the EECU Center is a cashless facility. Payment will only be accepted via
credit/debit cards, phone payment apps, and prepaid debit cards. There are no cash ATM’s
within the venue. Reverse ATMs have been added to convert cash to prepaid debit cards.
Cell Phone Etiquette
Guests are encouraged to put all cell phones on silent and refrain from cell phone use that
causes the display screen to light up.
Code of Conduct
The EECU Center is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience
for all fans and event participants. The Code of Conduct provides clear expectations that
encourages an environment that is enjoyable for all of our guests. The EECU Center
encourages good sportsmanship and that includes appropriate fan behavior.
Guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest EECU Center staff member.
Guests are required to sit in their ticketed seats and shall show their tickets when requested.
Abusive, foul, threatening or disruptive language and obscene gestures are prohibited.
Guests wearing obscene or indecent clothing will be asked to change prior to admission into the EECU Center.
Guess will not interfere with the event in any manner.
Fighting, taunting, threatening remarks/gestures or verbal/physical harassment of other guests, athletes, performers, field officials, etc. will not be tolerated.
Consumption of alcohol shall be done in a responsible manner. Signs of impairment or underage consumption may result in ejection from the premises.
Attempted access to restricted areas is prohibited.
The violation of any of the above-mentioned items may result in the denial of entry, ejection from the premises and the involvement of law enforcement.
Guests who are ejected from the premises because of the violation of facility policies will not be provided a refund of any type.
Costume Masks, Face Paint, Costumes
The EECU Center permits guests to wear costume masks, face paint and costumes. If
requested, costume masks must be removed for security screening, alcohol service, and
when asked to do so by EECU Center staff and management.
Costumes and clothing with offensive material or language, or that appropriates or
disrespects another culture, is prohibited.
Courtside/Baseline Seating Policy
Owners of courtside/baseline seats accept full responsibility for anyone who uses their
ticket, including compliance with all related policies.
Courtside seat ticket holders understand and accept the inherent risk associated with
sitting in close proximity to a basketball game. These include, but are not limited to,
unexpected contact with balls and other equipment/objects, players, fans, officials or
others working the event. If for any reason the bearer of a courtside/baseline ticket wishes
to be reseated, please contact the nearest EECU Center staff member.
Courtside/baseline seat occupants voluntarily assume all risks incident to a basketball
game, including the risk of personal injury in respect to oneself and, if applicable, to others
in one’s care.
Children under the age of 5 years old may not sit in the baseline/courtside seating area,
whether in their own seat or sitting on another seat holder’s lap.
No items, including but not limited to bags, coats, beverage or food cartons shall be placed
on or near the wooden floor of the court.
Emergencies / Evacuations
The EECU Center works in conjunction with all local, state and federal agencies in the
development of event specific emergency procedures and plans. The EECU Center strives
to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere through the use of automated security/fire
systems and appropriate security operating procedures. Trained security and guest service
personnel work to ensure the safety of all guests, performers, and employees at the EECU
Center. In the case of an emergency, guests must comply with the requests of venue staff
regarding venue operations and emergency response procedures. If you see an emergency
situation please contact the nearest EECU staff member or call 911.
First Aid
Trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) personnel are available to assist any guest
in need at most EECU Center events. The first aid office is located on the main concourse
near the traditions entrance (northeast corner), behind section 110. In the event of a
medical emergency, contact an EECU Center staff member or call 911.
Floor Seating
Guests who have purchased pit or floor seats, will be provided with a wristband when first
gaining access to the floor. One wristband will be provided for each ticket. The wristband
must be worn for the duration of the event. When leaving the floor area, the patron will be
required to show their ticket AND their wristband when returning.
Guest Services
A Guest Services desk is located on the north concourse, behind section 107.
Hearing Protection
Upon request, complimentary earplugs are available from the Guest Services desk (north
concourse) located behind section 107.
Housekeeping
For spills, wet floors or other housekeeping issues, please notify the nearest EECU Center
staff member.
Interpreting Services
Guests may request an American Sign Language interpreter by contacting the Guest
Services Department at eecucenter@tarleton.edu.
We request that guests provide advance notice of at least fourteen (14) business days prior
to the event date to schedule an ASL interpreter. Requests made with less notice may not
be fulfilled.
Lost & Found
Lost and found is located at our Guest Services desk on the main concourse behind
section 107.
Marketing
Any selling of merchandise, distribution of fliers/coupons or any other marketing attempts
must be approved by EECU Center management. Unapproved marketing is prohibited.
Guests found to be passing out literature or any written forms of unauthorized marketing
will be asked to collect all pieces of marketing materials and dispose of them in the trash.
Any marketing found to have damaged EECU Center property or require cleanup will be
billed to the responsible party.
Marketing opportunities are available through the EECU Center management office.

Media Requests
To submit a media request for any event, please email your request to eecucenter@tarleton.edu.
Requests are subject to approval and access is not guaranteed. Requests are only for
contributors on working assignment for a credentialed media outlet.
Mobile/Digital Ticketing
To offer greater convenience and safety, mobile/digital only ticketing will provide a
contactless entry to all events at the EECU Center. Your mobile phone is your ticket.
Guests are encouraged to save their tickets to their google pay or apple wallet to avoid any
internet or cellular delays upon arrival to the venue.
Parking
For most events, parking fees will apply for any of the lots outlined in the EECU Center
parking map. Event parking may be purchased on site or in advance in conjunction with
event tickets.
Please allow at least 45 minutes to park and access the EECU Center.
Postponed/Cancelled Events
If an event is postponed or canceled, information will be posted at www.eecucenter.com
and distributed to various media outlets. If the event is ticketed, all ticket purchasers will
receive information via the email address provided at the time of purchase.
The EECU Center makes every effort to notify fans in a timely manner.

Premium Spaces
The ECCU Center is equipped with 11 luxury suites and 16 loge boxes. Suites and loge
boxes are available for purchase through Tarleton State Athletics. Premium seat
purchasers receive season tickets to all Tarleton State Men’s & Women’s home basketball
games and firs-right-of-refusal for all other events. For more information, please reach out

Re-Entry
The EECU Center enforces a no re-entry policy.
Seating Sizes
Seats at the EECU Center vary in size, however, most will be approximately between 18” –
22” wide.
Shoes / Footwear
EECU Center guests are expected to wear shoes/footwear at all times.
Use of shoes with wheels, or ‘roller shoes’, within or around the facility is strictly prohibited.
Signs / Banners / Flags

Smoking
The EECU Center is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted in the venue at any
time. Additionally, electronic smoking devices are not permitted to be used on premises.
Solicitation / Vending
The EECU Center does not permit the distribution of banners, booklets, business cards,
circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, pamphlets, posters, stickers or any other written,
printed and/or painted materials on EECU Center property without the explicit written
permission of the event promoter and venue management. This includes the solicitation for
donations to charities, teams or clubs, and sale or peddling of any product/food/drink.
Special Announcements
Special announcements on the public address system and scoreboard are limited to
medical and police emergencies. The EECU Center does not announce or display birthday,
anniversary or other personal messages on the public address system or scoreboard.
Standing Policy
Guests are permitted to stand for events as long as they are standing in the area directly in
front of their ticketed seat. Standing in aisles or on seats is prohibited.
Strollers
Strollers are not permitted in the EECU Center.
Taxi / Ride-Share Services
Taxi and Ride-Share services are within Stephenville.
Ticket Fraud
To avoid ticket fraud, guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets through authorized
outlets only. The Tarleton State Ticket Office is the only authorized vendor for all non-
Tarleton State athletic events. If you purchase tickets from an unauthorized agent on the
secondary market, you may run the risk of purchasing counterfeit or invalid ticktes.
Ticket Policy
For all Tarleton State Athletic events (men’s & women’s basketball), children ages 6 and
under will be admitted FREE in general admission seating only.
For most other events, children under twenty-four months do not require a ticket to be
admitted, however, they must sit on an adult’s lap and may not occupy a seat. Any child
who has reached their second birthday will require a ticket to enter the arena and must
occupy their ticketed seat. Please note that some shows may have a different age policy.
Any events varying from our age policy will be clearly indicated on the event listing and
ticketing pages.
All tickets for EECU Center events may be purchased at www.tarletonstatetickets.com.

Umbrellas
Umbrellas are not permitted in the EECU Center.
Wheelchair Escorts
Guests who require additional assistance because of a limitation in mobility can request a
wheelchair transport from the entry doors of the EECU Center to their seating location
upon arrival.
A member of our Guest Services team will escort guests to their seat and can be available
following the event. This service is available on a first come, first served basis and may be
requested from any team member at the entry doors.
Please note that assistance is only available at the entry doors and within the facility.
Assistance is not available to/from the parking lots or other locations outside of the facility.
Wheelchairs cannot be left with guests during the event.

Will Call
Will Call is located in the Tarleton State Ticket office on the north side of the EECU Center.
Photo ID is required. The Tarleton State Ticket Office will open at 10 am on event days.
