Dressing Rooms

There are 6 dressing rooms within the facility.

  • Two (2) star dressing rooms with a capacity of four (4) people, private bathroom and shower

  • Two (2) smaller locker rooms with a capacity of eight (8)

The EECU Center is well equipped to support nearly any size event. Power sources include:

Generator

The arena maintains a fully automated, emergency backup generator in the event of a
power outage. The generator provides power to handle life-safety equipment and the basic
functions of the in-house public address system.

Loading Dock

Accessible from the south side of the facility, the loading area consists of the following:

  • 3 bay loading dock with hydraulic dock levelers
  • 1 roll-up door with direct truck/vehicle access to the arena floor (Door Dimensions – 12’ wide x 13’6” high)

Pyrotechnics

Pyrotechnics require adequate notice, documentation/permits, insurance and approvals from the appropriate authorities. EECU production staff will assist in coordination with the State Fire Marshall and other authorities.

Rigging

Rigging – 120,000 lb. end-stage capacity with 5,000 lb. dead hang

Low steel - 50' 5" from floor to steel.

 

*In-the-round disclaimer: Center stage events may be subject to a rigging plot review prior to booking. Stage placement may impact available rigging locations and load capacities, requiring a rigging analysis production feasibility prior to event confirmation

 

All rigging loads shall be suspended only from the members indicated on the rigging load plan herein. Other framing members, such as roof beams and catwalk support beams (except as allowed by note), shall not be used for the support of rigging loads.​

 

The maximum working load supported by a rigging beam, rigging beam segment, or truss bottom chord segment marked [5] shall not exceed 5,000 pounds. This load may be a single point load or a combination of loads acting anywhere along the member, so long as the total load on the segment does not exceed 5,000 pounds. See note below for limit on total applied rigging grid load.​

 

Refer to limits for maximum hanging load orientation for angular orientation limits for any rigging load. The maximum permissible load for loads that form an angle greater than 45 degrees from vertical shall be reduced by 25% from the maximums indicated above. ​

 

The maximum total combined rigging load carried by any truss, including the rigging load attributable to the rigging beams and girders supported by the truss, shall not exceed the following:​

  • Truss 1: 45,000 pounds total maximum​
  • Truss 2: 45,000 pounds total maximum​
  • Truss 3: 40,000 pounds total maximum​

 

Maximum Rigging Load​

End stage configuration: 120,000 lbs​

Rigging load limits listed above are in addition to the future rated scoreboard capacity (30,000 lbs + 20,000 lbs hoist). Rigging member segments marked [5] shall be identified with 2” tall white letters painted on each side of the member, at the center of the segment, as follows: “Rigging Capacity 5,000 lb.”
